Beijing Wildlife Rescue Center will do its best to provide services for the Winter Olympics.First, we focused on the rescue of wild animals and the monitoring of infectious diseases in the host areas of the Winter Olympics to ensure the ecological and public health safety of the capital and the smooth opening of the Winter Olympics.Second, during the Winter Olympics, a total of 41 wild animals were rescued, including 5 kinds of national second-level protected animals 9, 3 kinds of Beijing first-level protected animals 5, 6 kinds of Beijing second-level protected animals 7.Third, 16 regional wildlife departments, 11 national and 32 municipal terrestrial wildlife epidemic sources and disease monitoring stations and other departments and monitoring institutions reported a total of 3,304 pieces of monitoring information, a total of 164,000 wild birds were detected, and no abnormal situation of wild animals was found.
