There is a small village under the bank of the Han River, built in Wuhan Hanyang Qinkou, pastoral vegetable fields form a paradise
The appearance level of a city varies in different areas, but whether it is a busy commercial street or a sparsely populated suburb, the living area formed by this is a popular area with down-to-earth atmosphere.Generally speaking, the commercial street attracts more attention from the public, while the appearance of the living areas is low-key and calm. For example, there is a very secluded unknown village near the Han River in The Third ring Road of Hanyang District, Wuhan. The village is built in Qinduan Kou, beside the Han River, adjacent to the river dike and Qintai Avenue, which is a lively area. However, on the contrary, the nameless village takes peace from the bustle and is surrounded by pastoral vegetable fields, which is full of the atmosphere of paradise.Driving past the village, along Qintai Avenue, it is easy to overlook its existence without intending to visit. The main reason is that the area where the village is located is outside the second ring road and inside the third ring road of the city, and there is only one Qintai Avenue running from east to west. Even including the northernmost Guozikou Road, it is quiet. From hankou Qiaokou to Yulong Road across Hanjiangwan Bridge, or from Gutian Bridge to Hanyang Xianyunshan Road, you need to turn around to Qintai Avenue, and then cross into the village along the path. There are long stretches of forest outside the village, alluvial rain traces, the entrance is not elegant, not complete signpost, probably only the local aborigines can walk through, even on a motorcycle can cross the road. From the entrance of the Han River dam where Guozikou Road is located, Nameless village is a low-lying path, typical of the village road style. The width of the road may be just one lane, plus the extra muddy sections on both sides, and more than two lanes are parallel. However, after all, it is an unofficial main road of traffic, so the road can only be used by high chassis motor vehicles or motorcycles.Low car had to stop at the entrance of the roadside, and then slowly get off to walk into the village, how much will be attracted by the lush woods.Coming from the main road of the city into the lush forest, which is almost deserted, the contrast between the crowded houses and the bored life of the village is striking at first. After entering the village, the road is divided into two directions: southwest. To the south is a derelict processing plant, probably also undergoing renovation, surrounded by construction barriers; To the west, the road is only two or three meters wide, the cement pavement is mottled, some sense of age.Compared with the road, the fields and woods on both sides of the road are lush, even in winter, it is also a mountain landscape, especially the camphor trees are very prominent. The field is broken up into small fenced plots, occupied land, sparsely planted with fruits and vegetables, and perhaps not exclusively enclosed for the purpose of vegetable garden.Standing on the roadside looking ahead, several protruding private houses, red brick and black tile, particularly conspicuous, that kind of layout and state, at least more than 20 years.Walking slowly forward, I saw more small buildings on the roadside. The common size is not big, maybe only four or five square meters in size, rectangular outline, only door without window, guess there is a place for villagers to put sundries, of course, may also be the most primitive “public toilet”.Road subgrade extends forward, the cement road is full of soil, some places of soil accumulation thick, washed out by the rain pieces of mud, over time, the road became gray, it is difficult to distinguish which is cement which is sand.Fortunately, there are lines of telephone poles, they expand forward, pulling a long line, based on the baseline, you can basically judge the direction of the cement road. When I finally reached the area where there were houses, I found that what I had judged about the size of the village was not accurate.First of all, it was not a very large village. It was much smaller than expected, because if you look at The Gottsikou Road, there were probably only a few or eight private houses.Private houses built in the woods, east and west layout, low connected, towering towering, about three or four meters of height contrast.Judging from the color and style of the building, it is estimated to have a history of more than 20 years. The recognizable red brick walls and cement exterior walls, as well as black tiles, are piled on the roof, which are not effective in shading from the sun and rain, and the walls are full of traces of rain leakage.Walking through a small village in front of a residential building, found that its front gate was also planted with a few pieces of vegetable garden. The eggplant bore fruit, the green peppers withered, the pumpkin vine covered the ground, and a few football-sized fruits lay in the weeds, probably ripe. The vegetable garden was in good shape, but the door of the cottage was closed, the lock rusted, and the occupants had not returned for a long time.Next door to this resident is a three – or four-story house with laundry hanging outside, an antenna and curtains flying in the wind. Most of the residents are at home.It was winter now, and the house seemed lively in the fine weather, and there was constant chatter. It should be said that in the area within the third ring road of the city, there are fewer and fewer nameless villages like this, so few that it is almost commendable to see its existence. The village walks from north to south, through the city’s nameless lanes, and finally comes to Qintai Avenue, where traffic flows, bus stops and modern residential areas are abundant. As a result, walking down, people have a kind of trance, feel that the city scenery in this turn once, those mottled shadow and lively voice, through the streets and lanes, eventually die out in the thick woods, become the city’s silence.
